William T. “Bill” Pierce, is the Immediate Past President of Lodge 15, and has been a member of the Lodge for 25 years. Within the
Lodge 15 Executive Board, Bill has held various positions including Treasurer (1 yr.), Vice President (3 yrs.), President (8 yrs), and
Immediate Past President (present). In addition to his service with Lodge 15, Bill served as Missouri’s Trustee to the National FOP
Board for 10 years.
Bill began his career in police work in 1958 when he graduated from the Greater St. Louis Police Academy. He served 2 years with the
St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department before attending the St. Louis County Police Academy in 1961 and subsequently serving on
that department. Bill retired in 1997 as a Sergeant of the St. Louis County Police Department, where he served for 35 years.
Bill is proud to be a member of a true police family, being one of eight family members who have thus far accrued over 216 years of
police service to St. Louis City and St. Louis County. His credentials include: St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department (1958); St.
Louis County Police Department (1961); MBA, MS Management- Webster University; BS Police Administration- Truman State
University; Accident Reconstruction- Northwestern University Traffic Institute; Arson/Explosives Training- US Army Redstone
Arsenal; DEA- Narcotics and Drug Enforcement Training Center. Bill has served as a patrol officer; Sgt. Division of Patrol; Det.
Crime Scene Unit; Det. Sgt. Auditor; Bureau of Management Analysis; Det. Sgt.- Supervisor and Director; St. Louis County- Bureau
of Drug Enforcement.
Bill has been married for 52 years, is a father of 6, proud grandfather of 17, and great-grandfather of 5.
